About Us
Our Mission
To build and strengthen Canada's non-profit sector by connecting non-profits across the country with job seekers as well as suppliers of services and products.
The Team
In keeping with our commitment to keep this site affordable to all non-profits, regardless of size or budget, we have a small, but highly experienced management team responsible for the website.
Juliet Correia consults with small and medium organizations to improve the effectiveness of their management and governance through organizational assessments, strategic planning and board development.
Previously, as Programs Director of the Centre for Not-for-Profit Sustainability, she was responsible for programs and services to improve organizational capacity and build effective non-profits across British Columbia. She has many years management experience working and volunteering in the non-profit sector and has served as Executive Director in small and medium social service agencies in California and British Columbia. Juliet is passionate about non-profit sustainability and sees an affordable-to-all job and supplier site as being vital to strengthening the non-profit sector.
Juliet is responsible for the marketing and development aspects of WorkInNonProfits.ca.
Jose Correia spent 12 years as a management information and business intelligence consultant to large organizations in countries such as England, Germany, South Africa, and the USA.
Since 1999, he has shifted his focus and been involved in assisting and advising non-profits with their information technology challenges.
Few things annoy him more than seeing non-profits spending money needlessly, whether it be on computer technology they have absolutely no need for, or paying through the nose for job listings.
Jose is also an active volunteer at several non-profit organizations.
He is responsible for all the technology aspects of WorkInNonProfits.ca.

Plus... we have and continue to receive valuable input on the design and structure of WorkInNonProfits.ca from many professionals in the non-profit sector.
These people have graciously volunteered their time to help us test the site from all angles and perspectives - ensuring its accessibility and ease of use to non-profits big and small across Canada.
