PLASP Child Care Services is a not-for-profit, community organization, providing high quality child care before school, at lunchtime and after school, for children up to 12 years of age in over 180 locations and 20 full day early learning child care centres. PLASP has been operating programs for over 30 years.

Responsibilities:

•To assist in establishing and maintaining a safe, warm, and caring environment in which a high quality child care program can operate
•To work co-operatively with the Program Director and other CCC staff to plan, develop, and implement a program of stimulating activities for young children which will promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual well being

Qualifications:
•R.E.C.E.
•5 + years of post-graduate work experience
•Knowledge of the High/Scope curriculum an asset
•Proven leadership abilities
•Excellent organizational and administrative skills
•Supervisory experience an asset
•Well-developed problem-solving skills
•Flexible and energetic approach to work
•Above average communication skills
•Positive and sensitive attitude towards children and staff
•Physically able to participate with children in the centre and outdoors
