The Ontario Multifaith Council on Spiritual and Religious Care is a not-for-profit, charitable organization representing a wide range of faith groups in the province of Ontario.  Our mission is to:

• Ensure adequate and appropriate religious services and spiritual care for persons in directly-operated and transfer payment institutions and community-based agencies and programs

• Assist in the formation of appropriate responses to spiritual and religious needs
• Collaborate in the development of policies and standards which safeguard spiritual care and religious rights and practices
• Provide an effective liaison between the faith groups of Ontario and the provincial government

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Manager and Executive Board
• Key Functions
  • Receptionist
  • Responsible for all clerical functions. Record keeping, filing and preparation of reports
  • Reviewing and recording all expenses vouchers
  • Preparing all invoices for payment
  • Record invoices into the accounting system
  • Present invoices for approval
  • Print checks and mail to Vendors
  • Organize meetings
  • Arrange catering for all functions
  • Supports Manager and Board Executive as needed

Location: Toronto office

Hours: part-time, 18 hours per week

Salary: commensurate with experience
