Call for Proposals: Addition to AAISA’s Occupational Competencies Framework
HR Competencies

 

The Alberta Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies (AAISA) is seeking an experienced consultant to review its Occupational Competencies Framework to create a section on Human Resource (HR) Competencies which will be targeted to entry to mid-level management staff throughout Alberta and the Western Region.

 

About AAISA
AAISA is an umbrella organization comprised of 19 settlement agencies from urban and rural communities. AAISA is committed to facilitating the recognition of settlement and integration work as a profession. To achieve this, AAISA manages a comprehensive training and accreditation program for service delivery and management staff of settlement agencies in Alberta.


HR Competencies Framework Overview
Framework Development: 25 hours
Resources: 15 hours
Assessment and Revision: 10 hours


Developer Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Review AAISA’s Occupational Competencies Framework and highlight key areas of interest for Management Staff competencies
  • Engage with a minimum of 2 academic institutions and/or sector stakeholders in the development process
  • Design and evaluate an addition to the competencies framework that highlights AAISA’s Job Classification for Management Staff
  • Integrate AAISA’s Human Resources Ranking Tool into Management Competencies Framework
  • Consult with AAISA Staff and SPTA Committee throughout the process
  • Integrate relevant non-profit management methodologies relevant to the Settlement and Integration Sector
  • Ensure deliverables and deadlines are met
